Meg Madison, a junior at The Winsor School in Massachusetts, secured sixth place in the 5-kilometer girls championship race at the CHAMPS Sports Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park in New York. Madison clocked 18:17.2 to improve from 14th place last season and qualify for the CHAMPS Sports Cross Country Championships on Dec. 10 at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif.
