You would think that would be enough time to get used to an athlete's talents, skills, quirks, tendencies, habits, etc. But ask coach Hannon about Cheserek, and you'll get a smile, a chuckle and a shake of the head.
``He still leaves me speechless, honestly,'' Hannon said after Cheserek won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional title in 15:20.5, his seventh course record in as many outings this fall, at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, a small town halfway up Long Island on its northern shore.
